Potential team members join a mission-driven organization dedicated to helping people build better lives.Role Description The Education Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing educational programs and workshops that support the agency’s service areas and client needs. Day-to-day tasks include developing curricula and learning materials, coordinating schedules and logistics, and maintaining accurate records of program participation and outcomes. The role also involves facilitating training sessions for clients, volunteers, and staff, providing direct support and customer service to participants, and collaborating with internal teams and community partners to ensure programs are accessible, culturally responsive, and aligned with organizational goals. The Education Coordinator is expected to monitor program effectiveness, gather feedback, and recommend improvements to enhance learning experiences and impact.Qualifications Strong foundation in Education and Pedagogy, with experience designing and delivering effective learning experiences.Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to present information to diverse audiences.Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with a commitment to responsive, respectful, and culturally sensitive client support.Experience in Training, including facilitating workshops, orientations, or professional development sessions.Relevant education such as a bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, communications, or a related field.Experience working with diverse and vulnerable populations, ideally in non-profit or community-based settings.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs or projects simultaneously.Proficiency with basic computer applications and learning tools; ability to maintain accurate data and reports.Alignment with the agency’s mission and values and willingness to work collaboratively within a faith-based, inclusive environment.
