Powered by smart tools and experienced advisors, Saturday Education Consulting positions itself as a trusted partner for learners pursuing international careers and long-term academic success.Role Description The Education Counselor is a full-time, hybrid role based in Yangon, with a mix of in-office and work-from-home responsibilities. In this role, the counselor provides one-on-one guidance to students on study abroad options, including course selection, university choices, and destination suitability. Daily tasks include conducting counseling sessions, assessing academic profiles, explaining admission and visa requirements, and supporting students through application and documentation processes. The counselor will maintain accurate student records, collaborate with colleagues to improve counseling processes, and participate in information sessions, seminars, and outreach activities. The role also involves staying up to date on international education trends, scholarship opportunities, and institutional partnerships to offer informed recommendations.Qualifications Strong skills in Educational Consulting and Education, with the ability to explain academic pathways and study abroad options clearly.Demonstrated experience in Student Counseling, including one-on-one advisory support and handling diverse learner needs.Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with students, families, and international institutions.Background or interest in Career Counseling, helping students align study choices with long-term career goals.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, International Relations, or a related field.Ability to work in a hybrid setting in Yangon, manage time effectively, and handle multiple student cases simultaneously.Attention to detail in managing applications and documents; familiarity with international admission and visa processes is an advantage.Proficiency with digital tools, CRM or student management systems, and basic office software.Prior experience in study abroad consulting, higher education advising, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
