Educational Counselor

AHZ Sri Lanka is a leading organization specializing in international student recruitment and placement for UK Universities. With a global presence in regions such as the UK, Europe, North Africa, Central Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, South Asia, and more, AHZ has been operating for nearly a decade and has experienced significant growth since its inception in 2012.Your role will involve converting student inquiries into applications and ultimately enrolments to our global partner universities and institutions.

Key Responsibilities

-Provide tele-counselling and in-person counselling to walk-in students, assessing their profiles to shortlist suitable UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, & New Zealand universities and colleges.Convert prospective students into applicants by guiding them through the university selection and application process.Coordinate with universities and the backend application team to ensure a smooth admission process.Conduct regular follow-ups with students and maintain comprehensive records of both existing and prospective clients using the CRM system.Build and maintain strong relationships with students by addressing their queries and providing timely support throughout the admission journey.Effectively communicate the benefits of different universities and offer guidance on future career pathways.Participate in university events and collaborate with the internal team to schedule student appointments for university visits.Monitor and report the effectiveness of marketing strategies and student engagement campaigns to senior managers.Support the implementation of destination-specific activity calendars aimed at generating leads and achieving conversion targets for each intake.Consistently meet performance targets within established deadlines.Contribute as a proactive and collaborative member of the office team, supporting Office Managers and fostering a positive team environment.Identify and recommend key marketing opportunities to enhance student outreach and engagement.We are looking for someone: -Minimum of 2 years of experience in an educational counselling role, demonstrating the ability to work independently while effectively managing responsibilities and contributing within a team environment.Bachelor’s degree preferred.In-depth knowledge of international education systems and destination-specific admission requirements.Proven ability to multitask in high-pressure situations and consistently meet deadlines.Strong commitment to delivering high-quality service with a professional and ethical approach.Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.Please send your resume to hr.sl@ahzassociates.co.ukAHZ Sri Lanka.For more details, please visit our website: https://ahzassociates.co.uk
