Daily responsibilities include conducting assessments to identify learning needs, emotional or behavioral challenges, and barriers to achievement, and producing clear reports with evidence-based recommendations. The role involves consulting with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement tailored strategies and interventions, and advising on inclusive practices and special education support. The Educational Psychologist also contributes to training and workshops for school staff, keeps accurate records and documentation, and stays current with research and legislation in education, psychology, and mental health to inform best practice.Qualifications Strong foundation in Educational Psychology and Psychology, with the ability to apply psychological theory and research to educational contexts.Knowledge of Mental Health and child and adolescent development, including experience supporting emotional and behavioral wellbeing in educational settings.Understanding of Education systems and practices, with the ability to collaborate effectively with schools, colleges, and local authorities.Expertise in Special Education, including assessment for special educational needs and advising on appropriate interventions and accommodations.Recognized qualification in Educational Psychology (e.g., postgraduate degree) and eligibility for relevant professional registration or accreditation.Excellent analytical, report-writing, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.Experience working in public sector or education environments is beneficial, along with strong collaboration skills in multidisciplinary teams.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage a caseload, maintain confidentiality, and use digital tools for assessment, consultation, and reporting.
