About the RolePT Ecological Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and dynamic EIA Coordinator to lead and manage Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) projects for Infrastructure Sector (NABET Sectors 38 & 39). The role requires strong technical knowledge, project management capabilities, regulatory expertise, and effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams, clients, consultants, and statutory authorities.Key ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementLead end-to-end execution of EIA/Environmental Clearance (EC) projects.Plan, monitor, and control project timelines, deliverables, and budgets.Coordinate with multidisciplinary experts, consultants, laboratories, architects, MEP consultants, and clients.Ensure timely completion of baseline studies, impact assessments, and environmental management plans.Track project milestones and maintain project documentation.Environmental Clearance (EC) CoordinationManage the complete EC process from project initiation to grant of Environmental Clearance.Coordinate with MoEF&CC, SEIAA, SEAC, MPCB, and other regulatory authorities.Prepare and review applications submitted through the PARIVESH portal.Ensure timely submission of all statutory documents and compliance reports.Monitor post-EC compliance requirements and reporting obligations.Technical Review & DocumentationReview EIA/EMP reports, Form-I, PFR, ToR, EIA studies, compliance reports, and related technical documents.Ensure quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of all reports.Verify baseline environmental data and impact assessment methodologies.Review environmental studies prepared by functional experts.Presentation & Committee RepresentationPrepare/Review technical presentations (PPTs) for SEAC/SEIAA meetings.Present projects before appraisal committees whenever required.Address technical queries raised by regulatory authorities.Coordinate preparation of Minutes of Meeting (MoM) responses and additional submissions.Team LeadershipLead and mentor EIA professionals, environmental scientists, GIS experts, and project associates.Allocate work, monitor progress, and ensure quality deliverables.Conduct technical reviews and guide team members on regulatory requirements.Support recruitment, training, and performance improvement of the EIA team.Client CoordinationConduct project review meetings and provide regular progress updates.Advise clients on statutory requirements, environmental obligations, and project compliance.Build long-term professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.Regulatory ComplianceStay updated with EIA Notification, MoEF&CC Office Memorandums, SEIAA/SEAC procedures, CPCB/MPCB guidelines, and applicable environmental legislation.Ensure compliance with applicable Acts, Rules, Notifications, and environmental standards.Identify project risks and recommend mitigation measures.Business SupportSupport proposal preparation, technical bids, and project planning.Assist in business development activities related to EIA and Environmental Clearance services.Contribute to process improvements and implementation of best practices within the organization.QualificationsMaster's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Ecology, Geology, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.NABET-recognized Functional Area expertise or experience in Infrastructure Sectors 38 & 39 is preferred.Experience8-10+ years of relevant experience in Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Clearance projects.Experience with NABET-accredited environmental consultancy organizations is preferred.Proven experience in handling infrastructure projects from inception to Environmental Clearance.Required SkillsStrong knowledge of EIA Notification and environmental regulations.Experience with PARIVESH Portal, SEIAA, SEAC, MoEF&CC, and MPCB procedures.Excellent project management and coordination skills.Strong report writing and technical review capabilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Preferred Candidate ProfileExperience in managing multidisciplinary EIA teams.Ability to independently handle client meetings and regulatory interactions.Strong understanding of environmental monitoring, impact assessment, EMP preparation, and statutory compliances.Willingness to travel for project site visits, client meetings, and regulatory committee presentations.Join us and be part of a team committed to delivering sustainable environmental solutions while contributing to impactful infrastructure development across India.
