Electircal Design Engineer

Position: Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAEEmployment: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical designs, calculations, drawings, and technical reports.* Develop and review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), load schedules, cable sizing, voltage drop, short-circuit, and protection calculations.* Design and review LV / 11kV / 33kV electrical systems.* Prepare electrical layouts, equipment schedules, specifications, and BOQs.* Coordinate with clients, contractors, other engineering disciplines, and relevant authorities.* Support technical submissions, NOCs, approvals, and tender documentation.* Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical proposals when required.* Ensure designs comply with applicable UAE authority requirements, international standards, and project specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.* Relevant experience in electrical design and engineering consultancy.* Good knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical design/calculation software.* Experience with power distribution systems and electrical calculations.* Familiarity with TAQA Distribution / ADDC requirements will be an advantage.* Strong technical reporting and coordination skills.* Good command of English.Candidates with relevant UAE consultancy and infrastructure/power distribution experience are encouraged to apply.
