Electrical & Maintenance Technician- Furniture Manufacturing

-JOB PURPOSETo perform routine and corrective electrical and mechanical maintenance on production machinery, facility equipment, and furniture items with electrical components. The role supports continuous production by ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently. -Qualifications and Education: Technical Diploma or Certification in Electrical Maintenance or related field.Minimum 2–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Knowledge of industrial machinery, control systems, and safety standards.Experience with furniture electrical installations is an advantage.Familiarity with basic mechanical repairs and production line support.-JOB RESPONSIBILITIESPerform regular electrical maintenance tasks on machines and facility systems.Assist in the installation, wiring, and connection of electrical components in furniture items (e.g., LED lights, sockets, switches, motorized parts).Troubleshoot and repair faults in machinery, control panels, electrical circuits, and equipment.Assist with preventive maintenance routines according to schedule and work orders.Support the maintenance team in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs when needed.Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.Ensure compliance with safety standards, procedures, and company policies.Use tools such as multimeters, insulation testers, and other diagnostic equipment.Report major breakdowns, unsafe conditions, or damaged equipment to the supervisor promptly.Work collaboratively with the production and assembly teams to minimize downtime.
