Professionals joining the team contribute directly to advancing energy excellence across diverse projects and locations.Role Description The Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer is a full-time role based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for designing, reviewing, and maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems for marine, oil & gas, and subsea projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Day-to-day tasks include developing technical specifications, performing system calculations, supporting process control design, and preparing documentation such as drawings, datasheets, and reports. The engineer will troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues on-site and remotely, coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams, and support inspections, testing, and commissioning activities. The role also involves liaising with clients and vendors, contributing to project schedules and budgets, and providing technical input during project planning and execution.QualificationsStrong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to design, review, and analyze electrical systems for industrial applications.Proficiency in Instrumentation and Process Control, including selection, calibration, and integration of field instruments and control systems.Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for electrical and instrumentation systems, including fault diagnosis and implementation of corrective actions.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a closely related discipline.Experience in marine, oil & gas, or subsea environments, with knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations.Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams, and to prepare clear engineering documentation and reports.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.Proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools (e.g., CAD systems, PLC/DCS interfaces, and basic simulation or calculation tools) is an advantage.Proven ability to manage priorities across multiple projects and adapt to changing operational demands.
