This role involves designing, installing, and maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial facilities and projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing technical drawings, performing system diagnostics, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The engineer will monitor process control systems, support commissioning activities, and troubleshoot equipment and control issues to maintain reliable operations. Collaboration with maintenance, operations, and external vendors is expected to achieve project timelines and performance targets.QualificationsStrong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical industrial environments.Hands-on experience in Instrumentation and Process Control, including selection, calibration, and integration of field instruments and control systems.Proficiency in Troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation equipment, diagnosing faults, and implementing effective corrective actions.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering, or a closely related discipline.Knowledge of relevant international and local electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.Experience with industrial automation systems, PLCs, SCADA, and related software tools is highly beneficial.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams on-site.Previous exposure to large-scale or multinational industrial projects in the UAE or abroad is an advantage.
