Electrical Connections Supervisor – Utilities

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Connections Supervisor to oversee new electricity connection works and ensure projects are executed according to approved technical, safety and utility standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise contractors carrying out new electricity connection works.Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings and technical specifications.Review electrical connection plans, specifications and layouts.Supervise testing and commissioning of new electrical connections.Monitor connection and metering activities and prepare technical reports.Coordinate project activities to ensure timely completion.Identify technical issues, support root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.Ensure compliance with electrical codes, HSE requirements and utility standards.Supervise and guide field teams.RequirementsDiploma in Electrical Engineering.Experience in electrical distribution, utility connections or related electrical projects.Knowledge of substations, transformers, circuit breakers and switchgear.Understanding of LV/MV distribution systems, testing and commissioning.Knowledge of IEC/NEC or applicable electrical standards.Strong contractor supervision and site coordination skills.
