Electrical Design Engineer (PODS Factory)

The role will focus on the design and coordination of electrical systems for prefabricated/modular PODs, ensuring designs are practical, coordinated, and suitable for factory production and site installation.Responsibilities includeDesign and develop electrical systems for prefabricated and modular PODs.Prepare electrical layouts, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.Ensure designs comply with UAE codes, DEWA requirements, and project specifications.Develop designs suitable for factory production, assembly, transportation, and site installation.Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.Identify and resolve design clashes and coordination issues.Coordinate with BIM, production, site, and project teams.Support testing, inspection, commissioning, and handover activities.Ensure design changes and revisions are properly incorporated into project documentation.Here's what you'll needBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.5+ years of experience in electrical design.Experience in PODs, modular construction, prefabrication, or MEP projects is preferred.Villa/residential project experience is acceptable.Good understanding of UAE electrical codes, standards, and authority requirements.Experience with BIM coordination and multidisciplinary projects.
