Electrical Engineer

Role:The individual is part of the electrical team, excelling in electronics and electrical engineering. This role contributes to electrical control panel design, power electronics circuit design, and battery-powered applications. The specialization lies in electrical integration. This role typically collaborates on projects with teammates across multiple disciplines and is expected to maintain high levels of interaction as needed. This role is expected to deliver work conscientiously, meeting deadlines and staying within budget.

Responsibilities

Conduct feasibility studies at the early stages of the project.Derive electrical engineering specifications from customers' requirementsSelection and integration of IOT and power management componentsDesign electrical circuits, panels, harnesses, and loomsGenerate build/rework instructions for the production team and resolve production issuesCreate and execute tests for electrical systemsPerform troubleshooting for electrical systemsCreate BOM for electrical designs

Requirements

Degree in Electrical & Electronics EngineeringSolid understanding of electronic design principles, including analog/digital circuits and power electronics.Working knowledge of schematic capture and PCB layout software such as Mentor Graphics and AltiumExperience in EMI noise reduction techniques/countermeasures for PCB layoutUnderstanding of DFM, DFA and DFT.Experience in managing prototype build from BOM creation to build change requestsStrong fundamentals in electrical and electronics engineeringAbility to derive safety and functional requirements for electrical designFamiliar with industrial electrical standardsAble to read drawings, understand engineering documents, and work closely with members of the engineering, operations, and purchasing teamGood knowledge of AC power electronics and its associated control circuitryExperience in computer-aided drafting and design with tools such as Altium and EplanStrong communication skills in a multi-disciplinary teamGood analytical and critical thinking skills to be able to quickly and correctly identify and understand problems to find suitable solutionsProficient in using MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to prioritize, make decisions, and execute tasks in an ever-changing environmentAbility to work under pressure and time constraintsAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyOnly shortlisted candidates will be notified.By submitting this application for this position, you acknowledge that you have read and consent to the Data Protection Notice for Job Applicants on our website: https://www.hopetechnik.com/data-protection-notice-for-job-applicants/
