Electrical Engineer

Company Description OLA has an immediate need for electrical engineers interested in a careerin consulting engineering for commercial and institutional facilities. OLA isseeking electrical engineers with up to three (3) years’ U.S. consulting engineeringexperience for our NYC and Valhalla Offices. Individuals will learn and apply the skills todesign electrical systems such as services, power distribution, UPS and emergencypower, lighting, fire alarm, and other related electrical systems. Responsibilities willinclude field investigation, analysis, design, production of contract documents,and construction administration services. The ideal candidate must havecommunications skills to relate to clients, other design professionals, contractors,vendors, and his/her peers.QualificationsMinimum: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalentCourse work in power systems, lighting, or similar areas is preferredEntry level and up to three years of U.S. consulting experience will be consideredFE preferredKnowledge of AutoCAD required (except for entry level), knowledge of Revit a plusFamiliarity with building electrical systems a plus, required for experienced engineersLEED Accreditation, or interest in obtaining, a plusBenefitsAt OLA, we provide a very competitive compensation and benefits package.
