I have a few different clients looking for Electrical Engineers in Manhattan.THE CLIENTSmallish (+/- 300 ppl over 5 offices) 30+ year old MEP+ firm with their hands in numerous fields and building types: Science & Tech, Healthcare, Central Plant/ Utilities, Education, Hospitality, etc.ROLE/ RESPONSIBILITIES
- Electrical design of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm in accordance with NEC codes and standards
- Electrical equipment calcs, selection, and layout of switchgear, transformers, electrical panels and emergency generators
- Design recommendations, decisions, planning, delegating, reviewing, and QC of work from junior staff
- Project Management and client/ site visits REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or similar
- REVIT, AutoCAD
- 3+ years of commercial experience for an AEC/ MEP firm
- EIT or PE preferred
