Department: Electrical / Facilities ManagementExperience: 5+ YearsAbout the RoleESOM is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer – Facilities Management to support the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of electrical systems across building and facility environments.The successful candidate will provide technical expertise on site, supervise electrical maintenance activities, support field technicians, and ensure that electrical power and distribution systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.This role requires strong practical experience in facility electrical systems, LV and MV distribution, switchgear, UPS systems, standby generators, ATS systems, preventive maintenance, and electrical troubleshooting.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for electrical equipment, circuitry, and power distribution systems.Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain LV switchgear, distribution boards, control systems, and associated electrical equipment.Supervise activities related to MV switchgear and electrical distribution systems in accordance with approved procedures and safety requirements.Diagnose electrical faults and provide practical technical solutions to minimize downtime and restore system operation.Support the installation, modification, replacement, and commissioning of electrical equipment, including:Electrical panelsCircuit breakersSwitchgearLighting systems and accessoriesElectrical protection devicesOther facility electrical equipmentMaintain and monitor UPS systems, standby generators, and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) to ensure continuity of power during outages and emergencies.Support electrical redundancy and contingency planning for critical facility operations.Review electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, technical specifications, and related engineering documentation.Use AutoCAD and other relevant engineering tools to support modifications, upgrades, and electrical system documentation.Perform or support electrical load calculations, equipment selection, system assessments, and protection requirements.Coordinate with engineers, technicians, project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders on electrical maintenance and engineering activities.Provide technical guidance and support to electrical technicians during maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair activities.Support integration of electrical systems with Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS) where applicable.Ensure electrical activities are performed in accordance with applicable safety requirements, engineering standards, project procedures, and regulatory requirements.Identify electrical hazards, support risk assessments, and implement appropriate mitigation and electrical safety measures.Support the management of critical electrical spare parts and consumables to maintain operational readiness.Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, operating procedures, and engineering documentation.Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for electrical equipment and systems.Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to technicians and relevant operational employees when required.Participate in inspections, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives related to electrical systems.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance, facilities management, building services, or operation and maintenance environments.Strong practical experience with main electrical distribution systems and building facilities.Technical Knowledge & SkillsThe ideal
