Join a business with deep technical roots, where your voice is heard, your impact is visible, and your career is part of a legacy of excellence.YOUR ROLEAs a Electrical Engineer, you will have the following key responsibilities including but not limited to:Design & EngineeringDevelop electrical system designs, including single-line diagrams, load calculations, cable sizing, and equipment selection.Conduct feasibility studies, design reviews, and technical evaluations.Ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, client specifications, and applicable international standards.Review electrical drawings, vendor documents, and engineering deliverables.Installation & Construction SupportOversee installation activities related to power distribution systems, lighting, earthing, and instrumentation cabling.Monitor site execution to ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance.Coordinate with subcontractors and construction teams to ensure efficient project delivery.Conduct site inspections to verify installation quality and adherence to approved drawings.Testing & CommissioningLead pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, motors, MCCs, control panels, and associated systems.Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions during commissioning.Prepare commissioning reports, test records, and handover documentation.Operations, Maintenance & TroubleshootingProvide technical support for the operation and maintenance of electrical systems.Investigate electrical failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective measures.Support preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives to improve system reliability and performance.Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with civil, mechanical, instrumentation, and process engineering teams.Coordinate with project management, clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.Participate in project meetings and provide technical recommendations to support project objectives.HSE & ComplianceEnsure all electrical activities comply with company HSE policies and industry safety standards.Maintain accurate technical records, inspection reports, and engineering documentation.Support audits, inspections, and implementation of corrective actions where required.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORExperience6-8 years of experience in electrical engineering within Oil & Gas, EPC, power, marine, plant, or heavy industrial projects.Proven experience managing electrical engineering activities from design through commissioning.Education / Training / CertificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.Master's Degree or additional specialization is an advantage.Professional Engineering certification, Chartered Engineer status, PMP, or equivalent certifications preferred.Skills/CompetenciesStrong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methodologies, engineering standards, and safety regulations.Experience working on large-scale multidisciplinary projects.Proficiency in engineering and project management software.Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.WHAT WE OFFERThe chance to contribute to some of UAE’s Oil and Gas EPC Mega projects.A collaborative, supportive environment that values innovation and excellence.Opportunities for professional growth and career progression.Competitive salary and benefits package.Ready to be part of our team?If you’re inspired by what you’ve read and believe you’re the right fit, we’d love to hear from you.Join Target Engineering and Construction Co.
