This role is responsible for managing engineering projects, supervising technical teams, ensuring operational reliability, and delivering innovative engineering solutions that support organizational objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership capabilities, project management skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Key responsibilities include:Lead and manage engineering projects from planning and design through implementation, commissioning, and completion.Design, evaluate, and optimize electrical systems, equipment, power distribution networks, and control systems.Develop engineering plans, technical specifications, project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.Supervise engineering teams, contractors, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.Monitor engineering performance, project milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve operational objectives.Conduct technical reviews, feasibility studies, inspections, root cause analyses, and risk assessments.Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and asset performance.Collaborate with operations, maintenance, procurement, quality, and senior management teams on cross-functional engineering initiatives.Ensure compliance with engineering standards, electrical codes, workplace health and safety regulations, and environmental requirements.Manage engineering documentation, technical drawings, maintenance records, project reports, and operating procedures.Support budgeting, procurement, cost control, and capital expenditure planning for engineering projects.Drive process improvement, energy efficiency, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative engineering solutions that improve productivity, reliability, and sustainability.Prepare engineering reports, project updates, technical presentations, and executive summaries.Mentor engineering team members, promote technical excellence, and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance engineering performance, operational efficiency, and long-term business value.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, power systems, control systems, instrumentation, automation, and engineering design.Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, motors, transformers, switchgear, PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation technologies.Familiarity with engineering design software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, ETAP, MATLAB, or similar engineering applications.Understanding of project management methodologies, engineering lifecycle management, budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning.Knowledge of reliability engineering, maintenance management, root cause analysis, and asset management principles.Familiarity with ERP systems, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and project management tools is an advantage.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written, verbal, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously.High attention to detail with a commitment to engineering quality, operational excellence, safety, and regulatory compliance.Ability to work independently while leading and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Adaptability and willingness to learn emerging engineering technologies, AI-powered engineering tools, Industry 4.0 solutions, and evolving industry standards.Professional attitude with integrity, accountability, sound judgment, and a results-oriented mindset.Commitment to delivering innovative, safe, reliable, and sustainable engineering solutions that support operational excellence and long-term organizational success.
