The Electrical Engineer will design and develop electrical systems and components for projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, safety regulations, and client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing electrical drawings and specifications, performing calculations for power distribution and load, and supporting installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. The role also involves troubleshooting electrical issues, coordinating with project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines, and preparing technical reports and documentation. The engineer will contribute to continuous improvement of designs and processes to enhance reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and a solid understanding of Electricity fundamentals.Candidates should possess practical experience in Power Systems, including analysis, protection, and reliability considerations.Candidates should possess competence in Electrical Design, including creating drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.Candidates should possess hands-on knowledge of Power Distribution systems for commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.Experience in site supervision, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems is preferred.Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations applicable to electrical engineering projects.Proficiency with electrical design and CAD software tools, and basic MS Office skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.Ability to work on-site in Kathmandu and manage multiple tasks within project timelines.
