Electrical Engineer - Primary & Secondary Systems

We support key players in Energy, Utilities, Infrastructure, Transportation, and High-Tech industries.Your Responsibilities:Design and develop primary and/or secondary systems for electrical substations (HV/MV), including protection, control, and automation schemesPrepare and review electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and protection conceptsPerform power system studies (load flow, short circuit, protection coordination) and support grid integration activitiesSpecify, select, and validate electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and control systemsCollaborate with utilities, EPC contractors, and equipment suppliers to ensure technical compliance and project executionSupport testing, commissioning, and validation of substation systems on-site and in laboratory environmentsContribute to applied engineering improvements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of grid technologies and standardsDocument and present technical solutions, reports, and project deliverablesYour Profile:Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a focus on power systems or energy engineeringExperience in primary and/or secondary design for substations or utility-scale electrical systemsFamiliarity with protection and control systems, including relays and SCADA/automationStrong knowledge of power system analysis tools (e.g., load flow, short-circuit calculation software)Experience with electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar)Hands-on approach to testing, commissioning, and field validationStructured, solution-oriented mindset with strong organizational skillsFluent in English and German
