Contract Duration: 3 monthsStart Date: ImmediatelyWork Mode: On-site, full-time — Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaLanguage: Arabic fluency requiredRole Overview Our client, a leading national authority overseeing industrial cities and zones in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a highly technical Electrical Infrastructure Consultant to support the successful operation and optimal delivery of electricity across its industrial cities. The consultant will be based on-site in Riyadh, working closely with the client and its tenants — whether leasing land or Ready Built Factories — to assess needs, resolve electrical service issues, and produce clear technical studies and recommendations that ensure reliable power delivery. Full client details will be shared upon progressing through the screening process.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and advise on electrical distribution networks and substation design, planning, and capacity across industrial citiesConduct load and demand studies for industrial and commercial tenant sitesEvaluate power quality, reliability, and outage management issuesSupport electrical capacity planning and expansion for industrial zonesEnsure alignment with relevant regulatory and utility standards (e.g., Saudi Electricity Company requirements)Conduct infrastructure assessments/audits for facilities and tenants, including site visits as neededEngage directly with tenants and facility operators on-site to understand and resolve their electrical needsTranslate technical findings into clear, actionable studies, reports, and presentations (PowerPoint, Excel)Key SkillsElectrical distribution network design, planning, and capacity analysisSubstation planning and designLoad and demand study development (industrial/commercial)Power quality, reliability, and outage managementElectrical capacity planning and expansion for industrial zonesRegulatory and utility compliance (e.g., Saudi Electricity Company standards)Infrastructure assessment and auditingMedium and high voltage systems expertiseTechnical report writing and presentation development (PowerPoint, Excel)Stakeholder/tenant engagement and needs assessmentArabic and English communication (Arabic mandatory)Required QualificationsStrong technical background in electrical engineering, with deep expertise in distribution networks and substationsExperience with medium and high voltage systemsProven experience conducting load/demand studies and infrastructure auditsStrong command of Arabic (mandatory)Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for technical reportingExcellent stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with tenants/facility operatorsWillingness and ability to be based on-site in Riyadh for the full contract durationPreferred QualificationsPrior experience in Saudi Arabia's industrial or utility sectorFamiliarity with government industrial city/authority operationsBased in or near Riyadh, or able to relocate quicklyEngagement DetailsFull-time, on-site commitment for the contract duration (Riyadh, KSA)Deliverables expected: technical studies, tenant needs assessments, and recommendations to support optimal electricity delivery for the client's industrial cities
