You’ll have meaningful ownership of the electrical scope from design through construction, along with the opportunity to get into the field and see your work operating in real facilities.WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY OWNThis is where the role gets interesting. You won’t be designing one small piece of a project and handing it off — you’ll have visibility and ownership across the electrical power scope.Own primary and low-voltage power distribution design for complex industrial projectsTake electrical systems from concept through equipment specifications, layouts and final designPut your technical expertise to work on load-flow, fault and arc-flash studiesDesign grounding and lighting systems that have a real impact on operating facilitiesWork directly with utilities to solve service and power requirementsPartner with vendors and procurement to select the right electrical equipment — not just specify it on paperStay involved through construction and startup instead of watching your designs disappear after handoffGet into operating plants, troubleshoot real-world challenges and see the systems you helped design in actionYou’ll spend most of your time designing and engineering from the Wichita-area office, with approximately 30% travel giving you the chance to get into the field, support projects firsthand and see your work come to life.YOU MIGHT BE WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR IF…You’ve earned your Electrical PE — yep, this one really does require itYou have a BS in Electrical Engineering and 4–5+ years of hands-on power design experiencePower distribution is your wheelhouse — you understand how the whole system works, not just your piece of itYou’re comfortable jumping into AutoCAD when the work calls for itYou actually like seeing what happens after the design leaves your deskWalking an industrial site sounds more interesting than spending every day in the same chairYou’ve built some longevity in your career and are looking for a place where you can do the same againBonus points if your experience comes from industrial, manufacturing, agricultural processing, chemical, food & beverage, energy or another process-heavy environment.You don’t need to check every “nice-to-have” box.
