The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning activities on construction and infrastructure projects. The role ensures that all electrical works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily electrical installation and maintenance activitiesAllocate work assignments and monitor the performance of electricians, technicians, and subcontractorsEnsure all electrical works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedulesReview electrical drawings, layouts, and technical documents before executionMonitor project progress and report work status to managementInspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality and safety standardsCoordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, clients, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project executionPlan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment requirements for site activitiesConduct troubleshooting and resolve electrical issues during installation and commissioningEnsure proper testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipmentMaintain daily work records, progress reports, and inspection documentationMonitor material usage and prevent wastageEnforce company HSE policies and ensure safe work practices are followed at all timesConduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for site personnelRequirementsDiploma or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction, maintenance, or infrastructure projectsAt least 2 years of experience in a supervisory roleExperience in commercial, industrial, street lighting, utility, or infrastructure projects is preferredAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and specificationsKnowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations
