Employment Type: Permanent or Contract (to be discussed with the selected candidate)Application Deadline: 31 October 2026About the RoleWe are a marine services company based in Luanda, Angola, and we are looking for an experienced Electrical Workshop Supervisor to lead our electrical workshop.

You will manage a skilled team, oversee technical work from start to finish, and deliver safe, high-quality marine electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for our vessel and client projects.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate all workshop electrical activities, including installations, troubleshooting, and repairsLead marine electrical installations and fault-finding on vessels and marine equipmentOversee AC and DC motor rewinding, testing, and repairManage the repair and maintenance of switchboards and control panelsPlan job schedules, allocate tasks, and ensure work is completed on time and to specificationTrain, mentor, and evaluate electricians and techniciansEnforce HSE procedures, safe working practices, and marine electrical standardsReview drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentationMaintain job records, test reports, and material and spare parts controlLiaise with project managers, clients, and class/survey representativesRequirementsDiploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in marine electrical work, at least 2 years leading a team of 3 or more.Proven hands-on experience in marine electrical installations and troubleshootingStrong experience in AC/DC motor rewinding and repairExperience in switchboard repair, maintenance, and fault diagnosisGood knowledge of marine electrical codes, classification society requirements, and safety standardsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagramsFamiliarity with generators, inverters, control systems, and marine power distributionStrong troubleshooting, planning, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and team leadership abilitiesCommitment to safety, quality, and attention to detailPreferredPrior experience in the Angolan or West African marine/offshore sectorWorking knowledge of PortugueseValid offshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET or equivalent)What We OfferSalary based on experience and qualificationsAccommodation providedVisa and work permit supportA professional, supportive, and safety-focused work environmentOpportunities for long-term growth with a growing companyHow to Apply Send your CV and a brief cover note to hr@talent-craft.com with the subject line "Electrical Workshop Supervisor – [Your Name]".Applications close on 31 October 2026.
