The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components for industrial machinery used in wood, glass, aluminum, and marble production. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting equipment, performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing electrical faults, and completing necessary repairs to ensure safe and efficient operation. The Electrician will also read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams, collaborate with technicians and engineers, and adhere to safety standards and company procedures. The role may require occasional support for machinery commissioning, customer training on basic electrical operation, and documentation of maintenance activities.The applicant must have some basic background/understanding/knowledge of mechanical work.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong practical skills in Electricity and Electrical Work, including wiring, installation, and safe handling of industrial electrical systems.Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance & Repair for industrial machinery, with experience conducting preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose electrical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Electrical Engineering principles relevant to industrial equipment and automated systems.Vocational diploma, technical certification, or equivalent qualification in electrical technology or a related field.Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices for industrial environments.Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, manuals, and wiring diagrams, and to use electrical testing tools and measuring instruments.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technicians, engineers, and operations staff on-site.Previous experience as an Electrician in industrial or manufacturing settings in Dubai or the wider region is an advantage.
