Team members join a well-established organization with strong regional presence and opportunities for professional development.Role Description The EEG Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah, responsible for performing electroencephalogram (EEG) tests and related neurodiagnostic procedures under the supervision of medical staff. Daily tasks include preparing patients for EEG studies, explaining procedures, positioning electrodes according to established protocols, and monitoring recordings to ensure high-quality, interpretable data. The role involves operating and maintaining EEG equipment, documenting patient information and test conditions accurately, and assisting physicians by providing clear, organized EEG reports. The EEG Technician collaborates closely with neurologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, adheres to infection control and safety standards, and supports continuous improvement in neurodiagnostic services.Qualifications Relevant technical skills in operating EEG and neurodiagnostic equipment, applying electrodes, and troubleshooting basic machine issues.Knowledge of EEG procedures, neurophysiology basics, and standard recording protocols for adult and pediatric patients.Strong patient care skills, including clear communication, professional bedside manner, and ability to support patients of diverse backgrounds.Attention to detail in documentation, accurate data entry, and adherence to hospital policies and clinical guidelines.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple cases in a clinical setting.Diploma or certification in Neurodiagnostic Technology, EEG Technology, or a related allied health field; professional registration or licensing as required by Saudi regulations is preferred.Previous experience as an EEG Technician or in a neurodiagnostic department is an advantage, especially in hospital environments.Basic computer literacy for electronic medical records and reporting; proficiency in English and Arabic is beneficial.
