Electromechanical TechnicianOn behalf of a leading international organization operating in a highly specialized industrial and technology-driven environment, we are conducting a confidential search for an Electromechanical Technician to join its maintenance and technical operations team in the United Arab Emirates.This opportunity is part of a strategic expansion project within a dynamic and innovation-focused organization, offering the chance to work on complex electromechanical systems while contributing to the reliability and operational excellence of critical equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:Performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities on electromechanical equipment and systems.Diagnosing technical issues and carrying out repair interventions to ensure maximum equipment availability.Reading and interpreting technical drawings, electrical diagrams and mechanical documentation.Supporting installation, testing and commissioning activities when required.Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting technical findings.Collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.Candidate ProfileWe are looking for professionals with the following qualifications:Education:High School Diploma or Technical Diploma in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.Professional ExperienceMinimum 7/10 years of experience in electromechanical installation, maintenance and technical support within industrial, manufacturing, transportation, defence or comparable technical environments.Technical CompetenciesSolid theoretical understanding of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Experience using mechanical workshop equipment and machine tools.Strong manual dexterity with exceptional attention to detail and precision.Proficiency in the use of diagnostic and measurement instruments, including:Digital multimetersLAN testersTorque wrenchesFeeler gaugesStandard electromechanical testing equipmentPersonal AttributesStrong sense of responsibility and reliability.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Proactive attitude and continuous improvement mindset.High level of accuracy and commitment to quality.LanguagesEnglish – Intermediate level (written and spoken).IT SkillsMicrosoft Windows 10Microsoft Office SuiteAdditional RequirementsValid driving licence.About LHHHeadquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, LHH is a global Executive Search and talent solutions partner with more than 25 years of experience.
