This role involves diagnosing and repairing consumer electronics, including computers, phones, and related devices, using appropriate tools and methods. The technician will perform component-level repairs, replace parts, and carry out testing to ensure proper functionality and safety. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware issues, performing soldering work as needed, maintaining organized workstations, and documenting repair activities. The role also requires interacting with customers to understand issues, provide clear explanations of repair options, and support the company’s commitment to excellent service.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Electronics Repair and Electronics Technology for working with computers, phones, and other consumer devices.Candidates should possess skills in Electronic Troubleshooting and general Troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve hardware and component issues.Candidates should possess skills in Soldering for performing component-level repairs and part replacements on circuit boards and other assemblies.Basic knowledge of computer hardware and mobile device components, including common failure modes and repair procedures.Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and repair guides.Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to safe handling of electronic components.Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members in a service-focused environment.Prior experience in electronics repair or a related technical field, or relevant vocational/technical training, is preferred.
