ROHM Semiconductor USA is seeking a highly motivated HTOL Support Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying developmental and production electronic components, circuitry, parts, equipment, and systems. This position is in Santa Clara, California. This is an on-site position 5 days per week.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily to include but not limited to:Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on HTOL lab equipmentVisual inspection, loading, and unloading of silicon devices under testHTOL reliability test startup, monitoring, and reportingKeep clear logs of HTOL reliability tests, maintenance activities, and repairs performedCalibrate equipment and run diagnostics testsFollow established processes and safety standardsAdditional duties and responsibilities as required and assignedQUALIFICATIONSEducation/Experience/Training:Minimum AA/Post Secondary Education in electronics, electric engineering, or similar disciplineMinimum 0-2 years of industry-related working experienceWorkplace safety standards and best practicesOutstanding organizational and troubleshooting skills on electrical systems with exceptional attention to detailRequired Skills:Basic understanding of electronic circuit concepts and components, including resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors, and integrated circuits (ICs)Practical experience with PCB schematics and layoutsMultimeter, power supply, temperature chamberAC and DC voltageSoldering and rework of printed circuit board assembliesMicroscopeExcel and PowerPointAbilities/Attitudes:Analytical/Critical ThinkingAttention to DetailAdaptability/FlexibilityExcellent communication abilitiesStrong command of English language/comprehension (oral, written, reading and listening)Eager to learn new skills, engage in training and development activities, and work with a teamInnovations begin with you!
