The teacher is responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate music lessons that introduce students to fundamental musical concepts, instruments, and performance skills. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, organizing practice activities, assessing student progress, and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The role involves collaborating with other educators, participating in school events such as performances or concerts, and communicating regularly with families and school leadership about student learning and behavior. The teacher also ensures that instruction aligns with curriculum standards and supports students’ creativity, confidence, and enjoyment of music.QualificationsStrong foundation in Music Theory and general Music knowledge suitable for elementary learners.Demonstrated Music Performance experience, with the ability to model skills and guide student performances.Background in Music Education, including designing and delivering structured, engaging lessons.Proficiency in Piano and the ability to use it as an instructional and accompaniment tool in class.Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music, or a related field; relevant teaching license or certification is preferred.Experience teaching elementary-age students, with skills in classroom management and differentiated instruction.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive, student-centered learning.Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a multicultural environment and adapt to local educational policies and practices.
