Project Overview:This prestigious heritage project in Riyadh is part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative and targets Gold LEED certification. The development includes Construction of Public Realm around project of mixed-use buildings, academies, a traditional Najdi-style local mosque, a digital art museum, and a unique mud-brick cinema with underground parking. Job Summary:The ELV Engineer shall be responsible for review, coordination, installation supervision, testing, commissioning, and handover of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems across the project assets, including commercial offices, residential towers, retail spaces, conference facilities, entertainment venues, public areas, and smart building environment.The role ensures that all ELV systems meet project specifications, client requirements, industry standards, and operational needs while coordinating closely with architects, consultants, MEP teams, ICT/AV contractors, and end users. Key responsibilities include reviewing shop drawings, conducting site visits, and resolving construction issues, working closely with the Construction Supervision Consultant (CSC) team of over 80 site professionals. As discipline Specialist, you will ensure the project meet the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and design integrity. This role requires a strategic leader with the expertise to execute a vision, manage resources, and deliver outstanding results within set timelines and budgets.Key Responsibilities:Review ELV system shop drawings, materials and other submittals to ensure compliance with Design intent and technical specifications. Coordinate ELV requirements (CCTV, access control, fire alarm, BMS, structured cabling, PA/VA, intercom) with architects, interior designers, MEP, ICT, and AV disciplines.Coordinate ELV installations with construction schedulesInterface with consultants, contractors, vendors, and client representativesResolve site coordination issues and clashesIdentify installation errors or equipment deficiencies, issue site instructions or snag lists, and verify contractor rectificationMonitor ELV contractor installation activities.Conduct inspections and quality audits. Review O&M manuals and as-built documentation. Support project handover and warranty activities. Participate in project closeout documentation and approvalsEnsure compliance with project quality standardsEnforce quality standards and safety regulations throughout the construction process. Provide guidance and support to engineering teams and junior engineers.Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with the design. Coordinating with Client, PMC, contractors, other construction professionals (e.g., architects, engineers), and the design team. Identifying and resolving any construction issues or discrepancies that arise during the project. Providing regular progress reports to project managers and other stakeholders. Key Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Telecommunication Engineering. An advanced degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction supervision, or project management. Proven experience in the design, implementation, and management of ELV systems for Residential, Hospitality, and Museums projects, preferably in the Middle East region.Certifications from industry authorities such as BICSI (e.g., RCDD) or NICET are highly desired to validate expertiseSCE membership.Excellent understanding of local and international codes, guidelines, and regulatory requirements related to ELV systems.Strong understanding of ELV systems principles and construction practices.Experience with construction supervision, including reviewing shop drawings, conducting site visits, and resolving issues.Key Technical Skills: ELV system design review; Commissioning and testing; CCTV and access control systems; Fire alarm and public address systems; Structured cabling and networked systems; Building Management Systems (BMS) integration; AV/ICT coordination; Smart building integrationAdditional Skills: Knowledge/ hands on experience in BIM, Navis works will be added advantage. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and best practices.Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset. Problem-solving acumen with the ability to handle complex challenges and make informed decisions quickly.
