You’ll work with industry-leading technologies and protocols to design and integrate scalable systems that enhance functionality, energy efficiency, and user experience across landmark projects.About Your TeamYou will collaborate closely with project, design, procurement, and site teams to deliver lighting control systems throughout the project lifecycle—from design development and technical submittals to installation, commissioning, and handover. You’ll also coordinate with architects, consultants, lighting designers, MEP engineers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration with BMS, audiovisual, emergency lighting, and other third-party automation platforms.Your RoleDesign and develop complete lighting control solutions in accordance with project specifications and applicable international standards.Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including wiring diagrams, control schematics, network layouts, panel schedules, and system architecture drawings.Develop and review lighting control narratives, sequences of operation, and control philosophies.Review tender documents and project specifications to identify technical requirements, design constraints, and potential conflicts.Prepare material take-offs, BOQs, and technical proposals for project submissions.Coordinate with internal Estimation team and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.Perform design validation, technical reviews, and compliance checks throughout the project lifecycle.Provide engineering support during installation and commissioning activities.Troubleshoot system issues and provide corrective solutions during testing and operational phases.Conduct site surveys, inspections, and testing activities to verify system performance and compliance.Prepare as-built documentation, operation manuals, commissioning reports, and client training materials.Stay updated on emerging lighting control technologies, industry trends, manufacturer products, and regulatory requirements.What We’re Looking ForStrong knowledge in Production and Architectural Lighting Control Systems Experience in Art-Net and DMX-based architectural and entertainment lighting projects.Experience in lighting control system design and engineering documentation.Ability to prepare technical drawings using AutoCAD and related engineering software.Strong understanding of low-voltage systems, networking fundamentals, and integration methodologies.Excellent problem-solving, coordination, communication, and technical documentation skills.Desirable Experience in Art-Net-based lighting control networks, DMX distribution systems, and pixel-mapped LED installations.Familiarity with media servers, façade lighting systems, and entertainment lighting applications.Knowledge of scripting, APIs, and automation platforms.Experience integrating third-party systems through TCP/IP, RS-232, REST APIs, and network-based control protocols.Knowledge of BIM/Revit and lighting design software would be advantageous.Experience & QualificationBachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.5+ years' experience in Lighting Control System Design, Engineering, and Commissioning.Proven experience with Art-Net, DMX, and DALI-based lighting control systems.Hands-on experience with Production and Architectural Lighting Control Systems from leading manufacturers such as ETC, MA Lighting, Avolites, ChamSys, Madrix, Pharos, Enttec, Strand Lighting, Helvar, Dynalite, and Lutron, with strong knowledge of Art-Net, sACN, DMX512, and DALI protocols.What We OfferTotal package of salary, UAE Employment Visa, Medical Insurance & Annual ticket allowance.The chance to contribute to some of the UAE's most iconic projects.A collaborative, supportive environment that values innovation and excellence.Opportunities for professional growth and career progression.Ready to Lead?If you’re inspired by what you’ve read and believe you’re the right fit, we’d love to hear from you.Join ALEC Technologies and shape the future of infrastructure delivery in the UAE.Apply today and be part of something extraordinary.
