ZSEC TECHNOLOGIES LLC focuses on turnkey solutions, expert integration, and future-proof design to ensure facilities are intelligent, safe, and fully connected.Role Description The ELV Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining ELV systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing system designs, layouts, and drawings for ELV solutions such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, and building automation, and coordinating with project teams to ensure technical specifications are met. The role involves conducting site surveys, overseeing installation and commissioning activities, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards. The ELV Engineer will collaborate with ICT and project management teams, prepare technical documentation, and support clients with training, handover, and ongoing technical support.Qualifications Strong technical knowledge of ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, and building automation, with hands-on experience in design, installation, testing, and commissioning.Practical understanding of ICT infrastructure such as structured cabling, networking, Wi-Fi, data centers, and telephony, and ability to integrate ELV with ICT solutions.Proficiency in reading and preparing technical drawings and documentation using tools such as AutoCAD or similar design software, along with familiarity with relevant codes and standards.Project execution skills, including site supervision, coordination with contractors and vendors, time management, and adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.Problem-solving and analytical skills for diagnosing system issues, optimizing performance, and proposing practical engineering solutions.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and interact with clients and stakeholders in a professional manner.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field; professional certifications in ELV/ICT or vendor-specific systems are an advantage.Relevant experience in ELV engineering or technology integration, preferably within the UAE or GCC region; knowledge of local authority requirements is beneficial.
