ELV ENGINEER/ Senior ELV Technician

The organization is committed to delivering scalable, future-ready solutions tailored to client needs.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site ELV Engineer / ELV Technician role based in Dubai Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The role involves installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining ELV systems including CCTV, access control, biometric devices, intercoms, SMATV, home automation, gate barriers, and parking systems. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, performing structured cabling and terminations, conducting system troubleshooting and diagnostics, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety procedures. The ELV Engineer / Technician will collaborate with project teams to execute installations, support commissioning, and provide after-sales service and preventive maintenance under annual maintenance contracts. The role also requires accurate documentation of work, reporting on project progress, and effective communication with supervisors, colleagues, and clients.QualificationsStrong technical skills in ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, biometric devices, intercoms, SMATV, home automation, gate barriers, and parking systems.Competence in structured cabling, network infrastructure setup, cable termination, and basic IP networking principles.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system layouts for installation and troubleshooting.Experience in system testing, fault diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance for ELV and security solutions.Knowledge of relevant safety practices, local regulations, and industry standards for ELV and low-current systems.Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues on-site.Capability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks in fast-paced project environments.Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field; technical certifications in ELV, CCTV, or networking are an advantage.Previous experience in ELV engineering or technician roles, preferably within the UAE or GCC region
