Team members collaborate on innovative projects that shape modern smart homes and businesses across the UAE and wider region.Role Description The ELV Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, UAE. The technician will install, configure, test, and maintain Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems such as CCTV, access control, audio-video, structured cabling, intercom, and related smart automation components. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, performing wiring and terminations, conducting system diagnostics, and ensuring installations comply with safety standards and project specifications. The role involves troubleshooting faults, performing preventive maintenance, documenting work, and coordinating with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on-site. The ELV Technician is also expected to maintain tools and equipment, follow company procedures, and provide clear feedback on technical issues and project progress.QualificationsStrong technical skills in ELV systems installation, including CCTV, access control, audio-video, intercom, and structured cabling.Ability to read and understand technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and project specifications.Proficiency in using hand tools, testing instruments, and basic diagnostic equipment for electrical and network systems.Knowledge of safety standards, low-voltage regulations, and best practices for on-site work.Basic understanding of IT and networking concepts related to ELV integration (IP addressing, switches, routers is an advantage).Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other site personnel.Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a structured approach to documenting installations and maintenance activities.Relevant technical diploma or certification in electrical, electronics, telecommunications, or a related field; prior ELV or low-voltage experience is preferred.Willingness to work on-site in Dubai, UAE, including flexibility for occasional extended hours as required by project timelines.
