ELV Technician

Job Title: ELV Technician / ELV EngineerLocationDubai, UAEJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled ELV Technician / ELV Engineer with hands-on experience in Access Control Systems and CCTV Surveillance Systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ELV systems across various projects while ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, test, and commission Access Control and CCTV systems.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of ELV systems.Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults in CCTV, access control, and related ELV systems.Conduct system inspections and ensure optimal performance of installed solutions.Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients during installation and maintenance activities.Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and site documentation.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and quality standards.Support system upgrades, expansions, and integration with network infrastructure.Provide technical assistance and user training where required.RequirementsDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in ELV systems.Strong hands-on experience with:Access Control SystemsCCTV Surveillance SystemsStructured CablingELV Testing & CommissioningSystem Troubleshooting and MaintenanceGood understanding of networking concepts and IP-based security systems.Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.UAE experience will be an advantage.Preferred QualificationsExperience working on commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.Knowledge of biometric access control systems and video management systems (VMS).Relevant ELV/security system certifications will be an added advantage.
