The ELV Technician will install, configure, test, and maintain extra-low-voltage systems such as CCTV, access control, public address, structured cabling, Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and project specifications, performing cable routing and termination, and ensuring proper system integration with existing infrastructure. The role involves conducting routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve system faults, as well as documenting work performed and providing clear technical reports. The technician will collaborate closely with project engineers, site supervisors, and client representatives to ensure timely, safe, and compliant delivery of ELV solutions.Qualifications Strong technical skills in installing, configuring, and maintaining ELV systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, public address, structured cabling).Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, layout drawings, wiring diagrams, and project specifications.Competence in fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repairing extra-low-voltage equipment and related network components.Knowledge of relevant safety standards, local regulations, and best practices for on-site electrical and ELV work.Experience working on construction or fit-out sites, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and managing time effectively.Basic understanding of IP networking concepts, low-voltage cabling, and integration of ELV systems with IT infrastructure is an advantage.Diploma or technical certification in Electrical, Previous ELV or low-voltage field experience in the UAE or GCC region is highly beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, including occasional overtime or weekend work as required by project demands.Effective communication skills, ability to follow instructions, maintain clear documentation, and work safely in a team-oriented environment.
