Team members collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and partners to ensure that systems are installed and configured to meet modern building and security requirements.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site ELV Technician role based in Dubai. The ELV Technician will install, configure, test, and maintain ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, structured cabling, audio-visual systems, and network equipment. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, pulling and terminating cables, mounting devices, performing troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, and documenting work performed. The role involves working closely with project engineers and other technicians on installations, upgrades, and site inspections, while following company procedures, safety guidelines, and relevant standards. The ELV Technician will also support commissioning activities and provide basic user guidance to clients when required.Qualifications Hands-on experience with ELV systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, intercom, PA systems, structured cabling) and ability to perform installation, configuration, and basic programming.Strong technical skills in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings, with the ability to use tools and testing equipment safely and accurately.Knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, basic routing/switching concepts) and familiarity with configuring devices such as NVRs, switches, and routers.Ability to diagnose faults, perform troubleshooting, and carry out corrective and preventive maintenance on ELV and low-voltage systems.Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades on active projects.Attention to detail and commitment to safety, including following site safety rules, using PPE, and adhering to company quality standards.Relevant technical diploma or certification in electronics, electrical engineering, telecommunications, or a related field; additional ELV or networking certifications are an advantage.Previous experience in ELV installation or similar field work in the UAE or GCC region is preferred; valid UAE driver’s license is a plus.
