Embedded C/C++ EngineerLocation: Bangalore / KochiExperience: 0–5 YearsJoining: Immediate Joiners PreferredEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are looking for an Embedded C/C++ Engineer to join our engineering team and work on embedded systems and industrial communication solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong programming fundamentals and experience in embedded software development. Hands-on experience with IEC 61850 is highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and debug embedded software using C/C++.Develop and maintain firmware/software for embedded systems.Work with communication protocols and interfaces used in industrial/utility automation.Implement, integrate, and troubleshoot embedded communication stacks.Analyze software issues and perform debugging at the system and code level.Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and application teams for product development.Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and release activities.Optimize code for performance, reliability, and resource utilization.Required SkillsStrong programming skills in Embedded C/C++.Good understanding of data structures, pointers, memory management, and OOP concepts.Experience with embedded systems, firmware development, or real-time systems.Familiarity with Linux/RTOS, debugging tools, and version-control systems such as Git.Good understanding of software development and debugging methodologies.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Good to HaveIEC 61850 protocol experience.Experience with MMS, GOOSE, SV (Sampled Values) or related IEC 61850 components.Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, IEC 60870-5-101/104, etc.Exposure to Ethernet/TCP-IP and network troubleshooting.Experience in power systems, substation automation, SCADA, or energy/utility products.Who Can Apply?Candidates with 0–5 years of relevant experience in Embedded C/C++.Freshers with strong embedded programming fundamentals may also be considered.Immediate joiners or candidates who can join at short notice are preferred.Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore or Kochi.What We’re Looking ForSomeone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, understands embedded software deeply, and is excited to work on industrial communication and power/energy technology.To Apply: Please share your resume along with your experience, current location, notice period, and expected CTC.
