The Embedded Security Engineer will play a key part in ensuring the integrity and protection of next-generation embedded systems, working at the intersection of hardware and firmware to support the company’s mission of delivering robust, secure products for a global market.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement secure boot processes and Root of Trust for embedded systemsExecute fuse burning (eFuse/OTP) procedures using Qualcomm toolsEnable and maintain AES-256 full disk encryption and secure partitioning on devicesSupport firmware bring-up and low-level system initialization activitiesCollaborate with hardware and software teams to design and integrate secure system architecturesTroubleshoot and resolve security-related issues during system development and testingDocument security features, processes, and implementation details for internal teamsRequired SkillsEmbedded systems development and low-level firmware expertiseSecure boot implementation and key provisioningHardware-backed security, including Root of TrustFuse programming (eFuse/OTP) using Qualcomm toolsAES-256 disk encryption and secure partitioningExperience with Qualcomm SoCs, especially IQ seriesBootloader development and troubleshootingLinux and Android embedded system familiarityCollaboration with hardware and software engineering teamsStrong problem-solving and debugging skills in embedded environments
