About the Role: Embedded Software EngineerWe are seeking a detail-oriented Embedded Software Engineer to manage and oversee the design, testing, and deployment of embedded software and system components. In this role, you will act as a vital link between product design, manufacturing teams, and quality assurance to ensure all embedded software products meet strict performance, safety, and regulatory standards.Core ResponsibilitiesSystem Design & Testing: Evaluate embedded software and hardware-integrated systems by designing and conducting rigorous testing methods.Product Development: Implement embedded software into devices and assist in designing and developing firmware across various technical specs.Quality Assurance: Perform quality control checks and system validation to maintain product standards.Operational Maintenance: Ensure all technical development, debugging, and lab equipment remains operational and properly calibrated.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, project management, and manufacturing teams to meet delivery timelines and project goals.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Required).Experience: 0–5 years of experience in embedded software development, firmware engineering, or hardware design environments.Skills (Required):Strong technical, mathematical, and analytical problem-solving skills.Proficiency in C/C++, microcontroller architectures, circuit schematics, and testing equipment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.Preferred Skills:Experience with RTOS, embedded Linux, or low-level communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN).Knowledge of industry regulatory standards (IEEE, UL, ISO).What We OfferTargeted Placement: Direct marketing to our network of hiring managers in the Tech, Manufacturing, and MedTech industries.Technical Resume Rebuild: Optimization of your profile to highlight low-level software architecture, firmware design, and algorithmic efficiency.Interview Coaching: Guidance on technical coding interviews, embedded C questions, and system design case studies.Ready to Take the Next Step?Email your updated resume to: yashwanth.phani@maximatek.com
