Location: Mossville, IL 61552 (Onsite)Hire Type: Contract (10 months+)SUMMARY:Apply principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of embedded software and systemsResearch, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution softwareApplications span medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computingDesign and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment for product linesWrite and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptionsAnalyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resourcesReview project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish projectDevelop embedded software for electronics control systems supporting diesel engine and battery electric/fuel cell programsAreas of responsibility include configuration, integration, build and testing of embedded softwareTest software for embedded electronic control systems, including requirements development and verification in a bench environmentTroubleshoot software or system defects.Required Education:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with an embedded focus5–7 years experience requiredAt least five years industry experience in C programming, Model Based Development, and embedded control software development experience.
