Embedded Software Engineer – Embedded C, RUST, C++, Satellite Payload Software – Long term assignmentLong term B2B contract / freelance opportunity for Embedded Software Engineers to join our leading client in the Space / Satellite industry on the Greenfield development of a new MEO Satellite constellation. The role of the Embedded Software Engineers will be to support in the design, implementation and optimisation of embedded software for the satellite payloads. One Embedded Software Engineer will be required to support the automated testing of all boards / software that will be going onto the satellite payloads as well.To be successful in this role we are seeking proven Embedded Software Engineers that have experience with at least one of these languages (Embedded C, C++, RUST) and Embedded software development for Real-time systems (RTOS). The most important thing the client is looking for is Software Engineers who are able to think on their feet and solve technical challenges. For the Testing focussed role, it would be preferred for a candidate to have experience with Pytest, Junit or other Automated testing frameworks.The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the Satellite/Space industry (but not mandatory), or any equivalent safety-critical industries. The ideal candidate would also have experience with FPGA’s integration and/or RTOS.For this position you must hold EU nationality, and be able to work on-site in the clients offices one week per month.Please apply immediately if this sounds like the next role for you!
