About the RoleEmbedded Software Intern — Linux & AndroidWe are looking for enthusiastic Embedded Software Interns to join our engineering team and work on Linux and Android embedded systems across the Framework, Device Driver, and Hardware layers.This is a 4–5 month onsite internship program designed for fresh graduates who are interested in building hands-on expertise in embedded software, operating systems, device drivers, hardware interfaces, and platform-level development.Selected interns may work across 8 technical domain tracks, depending on their skills, interests, and project requirements. Platforms: Linux & Android Embedded Systems Domain Tracks

• Imaging / Camera — Camera frameworks, V4L2, Camera HAL, Camera2/CameraX, GStreamer, image pipelines, and basic ISP concepts.
• Video — V4L2, video encode/decode pipelines, Android multimedia framework, GStreamer/OpenMAX, playback, streaming, and recording.
• Audio / Speech — ALSA/ASoC, Android AudioFlinger/HAL, audio playback and recording paths, and basic speech/voice pipelines.
• Industrial Sensors — Linux IIO, sensor drivers, SPI/I2C, Android Sensor HAL, calibration, sampling, and sensor data processing.
• Display / Graphics — DRM/KMS, framebuffer, Android SurfaceFlinger/Graphics HAL, Wayland/Qt, display bring-up, and rendering pipelines.
• WiFi / Bluetooth — Linux wireless stack, cfg80211/nl80211, BlueZ, Android Bluetooth stack, connectivity management, and protocol-level debugging.
• Connectivity — I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB, and UART, including Linux driver development, device tree, peripheral bring-up, and protocol-level debugging.
• Core BSP — Bootloader, U-Boot/ABL, device tree, memory and storage management, eMMC/UFS, filesystems, and platform-level debugging. Key Responsibilities
• Work on embedded software development across Linux and Android platforms at the Framework, Device Driver, and Hardware layers.
• Develop, debug, and integrate software components for embedded systems and hardware platforms.
• Work with device drivers, hardware interfaces, operating-system components, and platform-level software.
• Participate in board bring-up, hardware debugging, driver development, testing, and system integration.
• Analyze technical issues using debugging and development tools and work toward practical, reliable solutions.
• Work closely with experienced engineers and technical mentors to develop hands-on expertise in embedded software and platform development.
• Contribute to engineering projects across one or more of the 8 specified domain tracks based on project requirements and candidate capabilities. Required Skills
• Strong proficiency in C programming.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Understanding of at least one microprocessor/microcontroller architecture such as ARM, Intel, AMD, STMicroelectronics, PIC, or similar.
• Strong understanding of Linux internals or RTOS concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Linux device drivers is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with at least one microcontroller or microprocessor, through an academic, personal, or internship project.
• Working knowledge of Git and configuration management tools.
• Familiarity with Makefile-based builds.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Basic understanding of software testing and QA fundamentals.
• Willingness to work hands-on with hardware boards, debugging tools, and embedded platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn and work deeply in embedded systems under technical mentorship. Eligibility & Internship Details
• Open to fresh graduates graduating in 2027 or candidates who graduated in 2026.
• Computer Science (CS) or Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) background preferred.
• Internship duration: Approximately 4–5 months.
• Onsite internship based in Hyderabad.

• Candidates should provide details of relevant academic or personal projects involving C programming, embedded systems, Linux, device drivers, microcontrollers, or microprocessors.

• Candidates should be able to explain their project architecture, implementation, technical challenges, debugging approach, and individual contribution.
