Embedded Systems Team Lead

Role OverviewWe are looking for a hands-on Embedded Systems Team Lead with strong experience in ARM-based embedded systems, firmware development, USB, board bring-up, hardware/firmware integration, and debugging. The candidate will lead technical decisions, mentor engineers, review designs/code, and own embedded product development from architecture to production.Mandatory Skills8+ years of hands-on Embedded Systems / Firmware DevelopmentStrong expertise in ARM Cortex-M and/or Cortex-AStrong programming skills in Embedded C/C++Experience with Bare-metal and RTOS-based systemsStrong experience in Board Bring-up & Hardware/Firmware IntegrationHands-on experience with USB 2.0, including Enumeration, Descriptors, Endpoints, Control/Bulk/Interrupt TransfersExperience with USB device classes – HID / CCID / CDC / Mass Storage / CompositeStrong knowledge of Embedded Interfaces: SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, ADC/DAC, PWM, CAN, EthernetExperience with BSP, Bootloader, Device Drivers and Low-level FirmwareStrong Hardware Debugging & Schematic Review experienceHands-on experience with JTAG/SWD, GDB, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer and Protocol AnalyzerExperience with GCC/ARM GCC, Keil, IAR or equivalent toolchainsStrong understanding of MCU architecture, interrupts, DMA, timers, memory, clocks, watchdogs and power modesExperience with Git and embedded software development/release processesPrior experience leading/mentoring Embedded Hardware/Firmware engineersKey ResponsibilitiesLead embedded product development from architecture, prototype and board bring-up to validation and production.Design and develop ARM-based firmware, BSPs, bootloaders and device drivers.Lead USB and peripheral interface development and debugging.Review schematics, PCB designs, component selection, power, clocks and reset circuits.Troubleshoot complex hardware, firmware and hardware/firmware integration issues.Conduct design reviews and code reviews and ensure engineering best practices.Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on architecture, debugging and root-cause analysis.Coordinate with Hardware, Firmware, Software, QA, Manufacturing and Product teams.Own technical planning, task allocation and delivery for the embedded engineering team.Support product validation, certification, manufacturing and production issues.Good to HaveSecure Boot, Firmware Security & CryptographySecure Key StorageSmart Card / CCID / ISO 7816FIDO2 / Authentication DevicesNFC / BLEEmbedded LinuxFPGA IntegrationDevice Certification / Compliance TestingManufacturing Test & Production FirmwareEducationBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
