Interested individuals can connect via Instagram @provider1health or by contacting the organization through email or phone.Role Description The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is a full-time, on-site role based in Broomall, PA. In this position, the EMT provides direct pre-hospital care, including patient assessment, basic life support, and safe transport under established protocols. Daily responsibilities include responding to emergency calls, communicating with dispatch and medical control, documenting patient care accurately, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and vehicles in a state of readiness. The EMT collaborates with paramedics and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, timely, and appropriate patient care. The role also involves participating in ongoing training, following all regulatory and agency guidelines, and engaging professionally with patients, families, and community partners.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in Emergency Services and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), with a strong understanding of pre-hospital care environments.Current certification with the U.S. National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) or eligibility to obtain NREMT certification as required.Knowledge of foundational Medicine appropriate to the EMT scope of practice, including basic life support skills and patient assessment.Ability to collaborate effectively with Paramedic staff and other clinical team members in high-pressure situations.Valid Pennsylvania EMT certification (or ability to obtain), current CPR/BLS certification, and a clean driving record suitable for operating agency vehicles.Strong communication skills, ability to follow protocols, and capacity to remain calm and professional in emergencies.Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as operational needs require.Previous experience in an EMS or public safety setting and familiarity with local and state EMS regulations are beneficial.
