About the CompanyStafmed is currently recruiting a highly experienced Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician for an exciting full-time position with a leading hospital in the UAE.About the RoleWe are seeking an accomplished Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician with extensive experience in managing a broad spectrum of acute, urgent, and life-threatening medical and surgical presentations.The successful candidate will join a fast-paced, high-performing emergency department committed to delivering safe, efficient, evidence-based, and patient-centred emergency care.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, resuscitation, and management of patients presenting to the Emergency DepartmentManage a wide range of acute medical, surgical, traumatic, and critical presentationsLead the initial stabilisation and management of critically ill and injured patientsPerform emergency procedures within the candidate’s scope of practice and expertiseMake timely clinical decisions regarding admission, discharge, escalation, and specialist referralCoordinate patient care with multidisciplinary and specialty teamsProvide clinical leadership and supervision to junior doctors and emergency department staffParticipate in emergency response, resuscitation, and major incident management when requiredEnsure compliance with clinical governance, patient safety, and quality standardsParticipate in departmental audit, teaching, education, and quality improvement initiativesSupport the ongoing development and improvement of emergency medicine servicesQualificationsBoard certification or recognised specialist qualification in Emergency MedicineRecognised Tier 1 qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, German Facharzt, French DES, or an equivalent recognised qualificationMinimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in Emergency MedicineStrong experience in managing critically ill, acutely unwell, and trauma patientsEligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAPRequired SkillsExtensive experience in Emergency MedicineStrong expertise in resuscitation, acute care, and emergency clinical decision-makingExperience managing medical, surgical, trauma, and critical emergency presentationsStrong procedural skills relevant to Emergency MedicineExcellent clinical leadership and multidisciplinary communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a high-pressure and fast-paced clinical environmentStrong commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and quality of careCompensationAn attractive tax-free package will be offered based on qualifications, clinical expertise, and experience.
