With 2,500 hospital beds and multiple public‑private partnerships, Medicover offers clinicians a well‑resourced, multidisciplinary environment focused on safe, efficient, and patient‑centered care.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Emergency Medicine Physician role based at Medicover Hospitals in Hyderabad. The physician will provide immediate assessment, stabilization, and treatment for patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries in the emergency department. Responsibilities include performing clinical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, initiating evidence-based interventions, and coordinating with critical care, surgical, and other specialty teams as needed. The role involves triaging patients, managing urgent and life-threatening conditions, supervising junior clinical staff, documenting care in accordance with hospital protocols, and participating in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. The physician will also contribute to on-call coverage, follow established clinical guidelines, and maintain clear communication with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team.Qualifications Strong foundation in Emergency Medicine with formal medical training and a valid medical license/registration as required by local regulations.Demonstrated expertise in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Services, including management of trauma, cardiac emergencies, and other acute conditions.Experience in Urgent Care settings, with the ability to prioritize, triage, and manage a high volume of diverse cases efficiently.Competence in Critical Care Medicine, including stabilization of critically ill patients and coordination with intensive care units.Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine or a related specialty is preferred.Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while maintaining accurate clinical judgment and patient safety.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide clear information to patients and families.Commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory clinical practice, continuous learning, and adherence to hospital protocols and evidence-based guidelines.
