Emirati Power BI Developer

Key Responsibility:Develop and rebuild Power BI reports and dashboards based on approved business requirements and technical specifications.Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI.Design and maintain semantic data models to support enterprise reporting.Develop DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs to meet business reporting needs.Connect to and transform data from multiple data sources using Power Query.Validate report outputs by reconciling data with source systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by resolving defects and implementing required changes.Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the report development lifecycle.Maintain comprehensive documentation, including report specifications, data sources, business logic, measures, filters, and security configurations.Monitor report performance and recommend optimizations to improve efficiency and user experience.Follow established reporting standards, governance, and best practices.QualificationsUAE National (Mandatory).Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.Minimum 3 years of experience developing reports using Microsoft Power BI.Strong experience with:Microsoft Power BI DesktopPower BI ServiceDAXPower Query (M)Data Modelling (Star Schema / Snowflake Schema)Strong SQL skills for querying and validating data.Experience performing data validation and reconciliation against source systems.Experience supporting UAT and defect resolution.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
