Alto do Forte focuses on providing a relaxing, high-quality accommodation experience in a distinctive and scenic setting.Role Description The Empregado/a de Andares is responsible for ensuring that apartments and common areas are clean, tidy, and well presented for guests at all times. Day-to-day tasks include cleaning and preparing rooms and apartments, changing linens and towels, replenishing amenities, and checking that equipment and furnishings are in good condition. The role also involves reporting maintenance issues, following health and safety and hygiene standards, and collaborating with the front desk team to meet guest needs. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ponta Delgada, requiring flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays according to occupancy.Qualifications Experience in housekeeping or room attendant roles in hotels, apartments, or similar hospitality settings.Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation.Ability to follow cleaning procedures, hygiene protocols, and safety guidelines consistently.Good time management skills and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a positive and service-oriented attitude.Basic communication skills in Portuguese; English or other languages are an advantage.Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Previous experience in tourism or hospitality in the Azores region is a plus.
