TJ Fallon Transport values integrity, respect, and accountability in all interactions with patients, families, and healthcare partners.Role Description The EMT Basic Life Support role at TJ Fallon Transport is a full-time, on-site position based in Cambridge, MA. The EMT will provide basic emergency medical care and safe transportation for patients, including assessing patient conditions, monitoring vital signs, and administering approved BLS interventions. Daily responsibilities include preparing and checking equipment and vehicles, responding to dispatch calls, documenting patient care accurately, and communicating effectively with patients, partners, and receiving facilities. The EMT will assist in lifting and moving patients, maintain a clean and organized ambulance, follow company and EMS protocols, and participate in ongoing training to support high-quality patient care.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in Emergency Services and Emergency Medical Services (EMS)Current certification with the U.S. National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)Foundational knowledge of Medicine appropriate to EMT Basic Life Support levelExperience working alongside Paramedic or advanced life support teams is beneficialValid state EMT certification and CPR/BLS certificationAbility to lift, move, and safely transport patients and equipmentStrong communication skills, professionalism, and patient-centered approachWillingness to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidaysClean driving record and ability to meet company and regulatory driving requirements
